skitse/dsh-dev-actions
dsh-dev-actions turns repeated development operations into one-click actions beside the conversation. Instead of you curating a launcher, the AI notices repeated operations (a Flutter device id, the same dev server, a repeated acceptance prompt, a 'reproduce first' instruction) and maintains a compact action panel: a Command runs in the bound workspace with visible logs and Stop support, a Prompt queues an explicit new user turn, and an AI instruction inserts editable text into the composer for review. Actions are AI-maintained operational memory -- the model may discover, update, deduplicate and retire entries, but it cannot execute or send one merely by creating it; every consequential action remains an explicit user click. Content revisions are bound to a digest so stale clicks are rejected.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-better-sidebar@^0.10.3 https://github.com/skitse/dsh-dev-actions/releases/latest/download/dsh-dev-actions.tgzRequires Node.js 22.19+ (or 24+); if you normally start DSH with npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web, first install the DSH CLI and the pnpm executable its plugin manager uses (npm install --global @deepseek-ai/dsh@0.1.0-rc.6 pnpm@10.32.1). Then run the line above -- it installs dsh-better-sidebar as a dependency and the release tarball together. Restart dsh web, refresh the browser, and select Dev Actions / 快捷动作 from Better Sidebar's new-tab menu. A from-source path (git clone, pnpm install, pnpm build, then dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-better-sidebar@^0.10.3 link:"$(pwd)") is also documented.
Compatibility
Node.js 22.19+ (or 24+), pnpm 10 for source development; DeepSeek Harness developer preview (the plugin pins the DSH RC range it supports) and dsh-better-sidebar. Commands run only in the authoritative workspace bound to the DSH Session, under DSH's managed Shell and Session sandbox policy.

Recent updates
The README documents the four fixed tools the plugin registers (including dev_action_upsert with stable keys), workspace-wide vs session-only actions, the optional dev-actions-maintainer Skill for a full library audit, and the safety model (exact content and rationale visible before use, digest-bound revisions, execution via DSH's managed Shell and Session sandbox policy with credential scrubbing and process-tree lifecycle).
FAQ
- How do I install dsh-dev-actions?
- Run the README's one-liner dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-better-sidebar@^0.10.3 https://github.com/skitse/dsh-dev-actions/releases/latest/download/dsh-dev-actions.tgz, restart dsh web, refresh, and open Dev Actions / 快捷动作 from Better Sidebar. Node.js 22.19+ is required.
- Does the AI run actions on its own?
- No. The README states the model may discover, update, deduplicate and retire entries but cannot execute or send one merely by creating it -- every consequential action remains an explicit user click, and instructions default to editable draft insertion.
- What kinds of actions does it save?
- Commands (run in the bound workspace with logs and Stop), Prompts (queue an explicit new user turn), and AI instructions (insert editable text into the composer) -- useful for Flutter/iOS/Android device params, dev servers, focused tests, log views and recurring review criteria.
