No-PRM/dsh-explorer

Git-first file-tree sidebar for the DSH web GUI: VS Code-style indent guides, M/A/U/D/R git decorations, HEAD-vs-worktree diff preview, media preview, and drag-to-reference (files/folders/selected code with line numbers) — pure plugin.

A file-tree sidebar for the DeepSeek Harness web UI. A blue round button on the right edge opens a drawer with the current workspace's files — lazy-loaded and virtualized so big directories stay responsive. VS Code-style indent guides, git status at a glance (M/A/U/D/R letters, tinted filenames, dirty dots, struck-through deleted rows), side-by-side git diff view for modified files, inline previews (CodeMirror text with Ctrl+F find, images/video/audio/PDF), and drag-any-file-into-chat that inserts an XML-tagged reference (<reference path=... lines=... />) with a removable chip above the composer. Search skips .git and node_modules; auto-refresh every 1.2s; open state and width are remembered.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add "github:No-PRM/dsh-explorer#main&path:/dsh-plugins/dsh-explorer"

Two-package monorepo install per README (English) — install both halves, then restart dsh: dsh plugin --profile web add "github:No-PRM/dsh-explorer#main&path:/dsh-plugins/dsh-explorer" and dsh plugin --profile web add "github:No-PRM/dsh-explorer#main&path:/dsh-plugins/dsh-client-ui-explorer". Dev alternative: copy both packages into the profile's node_modules and add insert rows (id: filetree / ui-filetree) to cordis.patch.yml.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness web profile. Adds only UI + read-only /filetree/* routes — nothing in the shipped dsh packages is touched, so dsh updates shouldn't break anything.

FAQ

How many packages do I install?
Two: the host side (dsh-explorer, Node, read-only /filetree/* API) and the browser side (dsh-client-ui-explorer). Both are installed from the same repo with #path: forms.
Does it modify the harness?
No — it only adds UI and a few read-only routes; nothing in the shipped dsh packages is touched.
Can it handle huge directories?
Yes — the tree is lazy-loaded and virtualized, and search skips .git and node_modules.
