File explorer plugin for DeepSeek Harness: file tree, preview, markdown, syntax highlighting, in-panel editing

dsh-file-explorer is a global file explorer plugin for DeepSeek Harness: it adds a 'File' folder-switch button on the right side of every session's title bar; clicking it opens a resizable right-side panel showing the current working directory's file tree. The panel width is draggable from 260 to 900 px; a collapse button and double-clicking the chat area also close it. Features: search box that recursively scans the workspace (skips .git and node_modules, max 300 results); file tree with lazy directory expansion and single/double-click file preview; preview pane with rendered Markdown (headings, lists, code blocks, tables, links), syntax-highlighted code for common languages, inline image display, and raw-text fallback for other formats; title bar toolbar with VS Code integration (opens the whole workspace in VS Code), expand/collapse all, refresh, edit, and close buttons; in-panel editing of the currently previewed file. The panel is global — appears on any session without session-level configuration.

FAQ

Does the file explorer work in every session?
Yes — the panel is globally mounted (shell.overlay) and the folder-switch button appears in every session's title bar; no per-session setup is needed.
Can I edit files from the panel?
Yes — the toolbar includes an edit button for the currently previewed file, and the 'VS Code' button opens the entire workspace directory in VS Code.
What file types are previewed?
Markdown renders with headings/lists/code blocks/tables/links; code files show syntax-highlighted source for common languages; images are displayed inline; all other file types fall back to raw text.
