Lehmaning/dsh-randomuuid-polyfill
dsh client plugin that installs crypto.randomUUID on insecure origins (plain HTT
A client plugin that installs crypto.randomUUID when the page is not a secure context. crypto.randomUUID is gated to secure contexts (HTTPS or localhost), so when the dsh web UI is served over plain HTTP on a LAN address every client RPC throws TypeError: crypto.randomUUID is not a function — the workspace picker is the first place people hit it, because choosing a workspace issues a listDirectory RPC. This plugin polyfills the function so LAN deployments work.
Install
npm install <path-to-this-package>Clone the repo, pnpm build, then npm install <path-to-this-package> into the harness environment and start the web UI (README documents the manual install; no npm package — npm 404 verified 2026-08-30).
Compatibility
DSH web profile (client plugin); activates only on insecure origins (plain HTTP on LAN addresses); zero runtime deps; MIT.
