Brings Obsidian-style [[wikilink]] mentions to the DeepSeek Harness web GUI. Type [[ in the composer and a note-title picker floats up, fuzzy-searching your workspace notes as you type, including out-of-order subsequence matches and space-separated multi-term matches; Enter closes the token as [[title]] with the caret after ]], and the referenced note's content is injected when the message is sent as a user-role message serialized as <note path="..." title="...">…</note> with source wikilink-mention. Matching uses four tiers (contiguous substring > subsequence > path substring > path subsequence) with whitespace-split queries requiring all terms to match. [[dir/title]] resolves by exact path and [[title]] only when the title is unique; unresolvable or ambiguous tokens stay plain prose. Since v0.2 the picker is fully self-drawn on the public conversation.input.overlay slot, so no harness patches are needed.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/zhaoscsc/dsh-wikilink/archive/refs/heads/main.tar.gz

README Install section quoted verbatim, then restart the web server so the host half and the served client bundle pick up the plugin; the enable switch lives in Settings → Wikilinks. README compatibility note: v0.2.1+ requires dsh >= 0.1.2-rc.1 (that release removed the settingsNamespace() factory from @deepseek-ai/dsh-settings, and since v0.2.1 the plugin registers its wikilink namespace as a plain string literal; the string form was always the underlying wire format, so older dsh releases still run). Host-side tunables live on the plugin row in the profile patch layer: maxIndexedFiles (default cap 100000), maxFileBytes (262144) and ignoreDirs (.git, node_modules).

Compatibility

Requires dsh >= 0.1.2-rc.1 for v0.2.1+. The README lists a caveat for some Chinese input methods (Sogou, WeChat, Baidu, system Pinyin) whose symbol auto-completion inserts a closing bracket when you type [ or 【, which breaks the double-open detection so the picker never opens — disable smart punctuation / bracket auto-pairing. The workspace index is cached per session for 30 seconds.

Recent updates

README changelog: v0.2.1 adapts to dsh 0.1.2-rc.1 (registers the wikilink settings namespace as a plain string literal); v0.2.0 introduced the zero-patch self-drawn picker plus fuzzy and subsequence title matching and fullwidth 【【 trigger support.

FAQ

Does it patch the harness?
No — the README states that since v0.2 the picker is fully self-drawn and writes the closed [[title]] back through public input actions: no patches, no re-apply step, install and restart.
Why doesn't the picker open for me?
The README calls out IME symbol auto-completion: if your input method auto-inserts a closing bracket when you type [ or 【, double-open detection breaks. Disable smart punctuation / bracket auto-pairing.
How much does an attached note cost?
According to the README's model-experience table, one attached note adds its complete content (up to maxFileBytes) to the request as prompt text, with no tool calls.
