Import, validate, manage, and migrate Agent Skills for DeepSeek Harness (DSH), Claude Code, Codex, and other A

dsh-skill-importer turns Agent Skills into a first-class part of the DSH Web UI: import SKILL.md from disk or a URL, migrate a complete skills directory from Claude Code, Codex or another .agents/skills root, browse skills grouped across project and global roots, remove any copy individually, and invoke skills from the composer picker, the /skills command palette (modeled after /model), or by typing /skill-name directly. Batch migration runs a real preflight: it scans before it writes, validates every SKILL.md, preserves each skill's scripts/references/assets, reports invalid entries without touching the destination, and skips destination name conflicts by default — per-skill Replace, review of the add/replace/skip summary, same-root staging, and a temporary backup with rollback if the swap fails. The preflight is single-use, expires after ten minutes, and re-verifies source-content fingerprints at commit time.

Install

npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-skill-importer@latest

npm dsh-skill-importer 0.2.5 verified 2026-09-02 (repository field → github.com/saitamahang/dsh-skill-importer; README EN primary). Install: npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-skill-importer@latest, restart dsh Web (npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web); the same command updates. The plugin registers itself through dsh.bundle — do not edit cordis.patch.yml manually. Zero model tokens: the host writes skill files directly and imports never enter a model context.

Compatibility

DSH web profile; bilingual EN/zh UI following the harness locale; project skills target the active registered workspace; 256 KB import limit; fixed skill roots.

FAQ

How do I use an imported skill?
Three ways: the composer picker beside the access-mode selector, the /skills command palette, or typing /skill-name directly — all fill the composer with the same highlighted gesture.
Is importing safe?
Migration scans before it writes, validates every SKILL.md, reports invalid entries without touching the destination, stages through a same-root directory and rolls back a failed swap from a temporary backup.
Does import cost model tokens?
No — no agent or session is involved; the host writes skill files directly, so imports never enter a model context.
