DeepSeek Harness plugin for shareable session deep links

dsh-session-deeplink makes DeepSeek Harness sessions directly addressable and shareable by URL: open http://127.0.0.1:3080/?session=<id> to jump straight into that session, and the browser address bar stays synchronized as you switch sessions. It preserves unrelated query parameters and URL fragments, runs entirely in the browser, and adds no host-side service — so sharing a session link with a colleague (or bookmarking one for yourself) restores exactly that session as long as it still exists in the DSH session list.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-deeplink

npm package dsh-session-deeplink 0.1.1 (registry-verified 2026-08-24). Install the bundle into the web profile: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-deeplink. Restart dsh web, then open a session — the browser URL becomes http://127.0.0.1:3080/?session=session-xxxx and opening that URL restores the same session as long as it still exists in the DSH session list. GitHub alternative: dsh plugin --profile web add github:R3alloc/dsh-session-deeplink (git deps build locally via the package's prepare script; pnpm 10+ may require allowBuilds: dsh-session-deeplink: true in the profile's pnpm-workspace.yaml). The README recommends the npm package for normal installs because it contains the built client bundle and executes no build code during installation. MIT. Developed against DSH 0.1.0-rc.6.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness web client (developed against 0.1.0-rc.6; DSH is a developer preview so future releases may require plugin updates). Runs entirely in the browser — adds no host-side service. Features: opens /?session=<id> directly in the requested session; keeps the address bar synchronized when the active session changes; preserves unrelated query parameters and URL fragments.

Details

Recent updates

The current bilingual README (English section) documents: features (/?session=<id> deep link, address-bar sync, preserved query params/fragments, browser-only), install from npm (recommended) and GitHub (prepare-script build, pnpm allowBuilds note), restart requirement, development workflow, and compatibility with DSH 0.1.0-rc.6.

FAQ

How do I share a session?
Open the session and copy the URL — it contains ?session=<id>; anyone who opens that URL restores the same session as long as it still exists in the DSH session list.
Does it add any host-side service?
No — the plugin runs entirely in the browser and adds no host-side service.
Which install should I use?
The README recommends the npm package because it already contains the built client bundle and does not execute build code during installation; the GitHub install builds via the prepare script.
