PwnKY/dsh-session-link

Copy and open dsh:// session deep links, or paste them into another conversation to inject a bounded, read-only snapshot of the referenced session.

Codex-style session deep links for DeepSeek Harness. Copy a link from any conversation (a 'Copy session link' button in the header copies dsh://session/<sessionId>), paste it into a different conversation — the referenced session's context is snapshotted and injected as bounded, read-only background context right before your prompt. The same link opens the conversation in the browser (Windows: with the registered dsh:// protocol handler, clicking a link opens the web GUI and selects that session). Fail-open: malformed links, unreadable sessions or self-references never break your turn — the link stays plain text and the failure is logged. The host half is transport-agnostic, so pasting a canonical URI into the TUI works the same way.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-link

npm package dsh-session-link 0.1.4 (registry-verified 2026-08-28): dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-link, then restart the web GUI. The package declares a dsh.bundle patch (cordis.patch.yml), so dsh plugin add detects it, adds the package to dsh.profile.bundles, and the session-reference + session-link rows compose automatically at boot — no manual yml edits. Generic install: npm install dsh-session-link.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness web profile (reuses the shipped @deepseek-ai/dsh-session-reference service). Windows clickable dsh:// links via registered protocol handler.

FAQ

How do I share context between sessions?
Copy a session link from one conversation and paste it into another — the source session's context is snapshotted and injected as bounded read-only background context before your prompt.
Does a bad link break the turn?
No — fail-open: malformed links, unreadable sessions or self-references stay as plain text and the failure is logged.
Do I need to edit yml?
No — the package ships a dsh.bundle patch; dsh plugin add wires the bundle rows automatically.
