Pasumao/dsh-plugin-notify
The only native Windows notification plugin with a system tray in the dsh ecosystem: when the agent stops running (finished / stopped / errored / hit output limit / waiting for you / session closed), it pops a native Windows Toast labeled with workspace + session, and a whale tray icon stays resident — glance at the tray while a long task runs. Anti-spam: rootsOnly (default) notifies root sessions only so subagents don't spam; cooldownMs (default 10000ms) enforces a minimum interval between two notifications of the same type in the same session. Zero runtime dependencies, zero build — one dsh plugin add command and it works.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-notifydsh plugin --profile web add dsh-notify (npm 0.1.6 registry-verified 2026-08-29) or dsh plugin --profile web add github:Pasumao/dsh-plugin-notify. - Will subagents spam me?
- No — rootsOnly is on by default (root sessions only); set it to false only if you want subagent notifications.
- I'm not getting notifications — why?
- Check Windows Settings → System → Notifications allows PowerShell toasts, and that you're not in Focus Assist / Do Not Disturb.
