Turn DSH into a 2005 portal|Parody ads, fake games, and popups for the DSH Web UI
dsh-ads turns your DSH session into a parody 2005 portal website — complete with fake antivirus warnings, spin-the-wheel prize draws, and animated banner ads that 'pause' inference (the model keeps running; the answer waits for the ad to finish). Ads are entirely fictional; real DSH plugins with the dsh-plugin GitHub topic rotate through ad slots as promotion. Built in two aesthetics: Chinese mode (blue whale game poster, gold finance ads) and English mode (fake antivirus, actual gameplay). By the same author as dsh-visualize.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Nagi-ovo/dsh-adsInstall directly via DSH plugin manager. After install, restart dsh web and refresh browser. Individual ad slots can be disabled in Settings → Ads (Unofficial). To develop from source: clone and run dsh plugin --profile web add . in the repo dir — build artifacts are pre-committed, no build step needed.
Compatibility
Works with dsh web profile. No extra build step — pre-compiled. Ad preferences stored in local browser storage (persist across restarts). Supports Chinese and English UI modes (switch in Settings → Language, no refresh required).

FAQ
- How do I install dsh-ads?
- Run: dsh plugin --profile web add github:Nagi-ovo/dsh-ads — then restart dsh web and refresh. No build step needed.
- Can I disable specific ads?
- Yes — open DSH Settings → Ads (Unofficial). Each ad slot can be toggled individually; preferences persist in local browser storage across restarts.
- Why does inference seem to pause?
- It doesn't actually pause — the model generates normally in the background. dsh-ads holds the display until the ad finishes, then shows the answer. It's purely a display effect.
