dsh-scout (司察, Scout) is an evidence-driven company & job due-diligence plugin for DeepSeek Harness: it answers 'is this company and role worth taking to the next round, and what must I verify in the interview?' while keeping facts, reported information, inference, unknowns, sources and next actions separate — starting conservatively at VERIFY until company identity and high-impact claims are supported. Tools: scout_start (in-memory diligence case), scout_add_source, scout_ingest (batch-register research with per-URL source-type/evidence inference and optional claim drafting; individual failures isolated), scout_search (runs the DSH web provider and auto-registers result URLs), scout_add_claim (evidence-bounded), scout_verify_identity (legal entity from an E3 source), scout_verify_claim (promote preserving prior evidence), scout_report (Markdown report with evidence summary, verification checklist, URL-linked sources, interview questions), scout_questions (up to 12 deduplicated interview questions), scout_compare (side-by-side of 2–5 cases), scout_export / scout_import (durable five-file format: case.json, sources.json, claims.json, events.jsonl, report.md). Case state is memory-default and isolated by agent/session identity. It does not send applications/emails, does not treat funding/self-description/job postings as verified success claims, and is not legal, investment or medical advice.

Install into a DSH profile: dsh plugin --profile scout-demo add github:MaxHou-infinity/dsh-scout#<commit>, then dsh --profile scout-demo --dump-config. Git installs fetch source and run prepare; pnpm may require an explicit allowBuilds entry for dsh-scout — only allow a pinned source you have reviewed. Targets @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools 0.1.0-rc.6 and @deepseek-ai/cordis 4.0.x. Optional config: scoutDir (default export dir) and autoPersist.
