A DeepSeek Harness Web plugin for real-time Token usage, cost estimates, per-round charts, and DeepSeek API ba
dsh-usage-chart is a usage, cost, and account-balance dashboard plugin for DeepSeek Harness Web: it adds charted panels showing DeepSeek API usage, accumulated cost, and current account balance directly in the DSH main UI and Settings page. Displays usage broken down by model, by session, and by time period — so you can see which sessions and models are consuming the most tokens and budget. Cost panels use official DeepSeek pricing. Account balance is fetched from the official DeepSeek API using the configured API key. Designed as a prebuilt npm plugin: no build tooling required on the host, installs with a single dsh plugin add command.

FAQ
- Does it require a build step or additional tooling?
- No — dsh-usage-chart ships prebuilt and installs with a single dsh plugin add command. Node.js ≥ 20 and pnpm on PATH are needed for the plugin install mechanism itself (pnpm is used by dsh plugin), but no separate build tooling is required.
- How does it get the account balance?
- It fetches the official DeepSeek account balance using the API key configured in your DSH settings. No separate API key setup is needed beyond what you already have configured for model access.
- How does this differ from dsh-usage-billing?
- Both track usage and cost, but dsh-usage-billing adds tiered peak/off-peak billing, historical backfill from session logs, configurable pricing rules, budget alert notifications, and CSV/JSON export. dsh-usage-chart focuses on chart visualization of usage, cost, and balance in the DSH UI.
