literaf/dsh-ai4scholar

AI4Scholar academic search: 38 tools over Semantic Scholar, PubMed, Google Scholar, arXiv, bioRxiv/medRxiv, and DOI resolution (search, citation graph, authors, recommendations, PDF full text in slices, auto-cite, scientific figures), a unified cross-platform search with de-duplication, an API-key card in Settings, and per-call credit accounting with an /ai4scholar balance card.

dsh-ai4scholar delivers academic literature search and reading as 38 native agent tools — the same coverage as the AI4Scholar plugins for OpenClaw, Codex and Hermes. search_papers queries Semantic Scholar + PubMed at once (optionally arXiv and Google Scholar) with DOI/arXiv/PMID/title dedup; per-platform families cover Semantic Scholar (search, paper match, citations, references, authors, recommendations, download/read), PubMed, Google Scholar, arXiv, bioRxiv/medRxiv and DOI-based download/read of open-access papers. Writing tools add auto_cite (real citations + reference list + BibTeX) and sci_draw (scientific figure generation/editing). Every paper-list tool returns one normalized record shape so results chain across platforms; full-text tools return PDF text in offset/max_chars slices so a 40-page paper never floods context. Every billed call shows its credit cost in the tool card and a credit note for the model.

FAQ

Is an API key needed?
Yes — an ai4scholar.net account provides credits for billed platforms (Semantic Scholar, PubMed, Google Scholar); arXiv, bioRxiv/medRxiv and DOI open-access reads are free.
How are credits shown?
Every billed tool card carries the charge (e.g. '10 credits · 4,990 left') and the result ends with this-call/session/remaining counts from the API's X-Credits-* headers.
Can it read full papers?
Yes — full-text tools return PDF text in slices (offset/max_chars) so even a 40-page paper is consumed without flooding the context.
