Jesse-njx/dsh-chatnode-wechat
dsh-chatnode-wechat connects your DSH agent to a personal WeChat account over Tencent's unofficial iLink gateway. Text messages flow both ways; session management works via /sessions /use /new /stop /status commands in chat; approval requests appear as /yes / /no prompts directly in WeChat; long agent output is delivered as digest summaries (chunked, throttled) instead of a raw tool-call firehose. Ships two separable Cordis plugins: wechat-gateway (iLink service, QR login, reconnect/backoff) and wechat-conversation-node (DSH bridge, allowlist, commands, approvals).
Install
git clone https://github.com/Jesse-njx/dsh-chatnode-wechat.git && cd dsh-chatnode-wechat && pnpm install && pnpm build && dsh plugin --profile <your-profile> add .No npm package — install from source: clone the repo, run pnpm install && pnpm build, then dsh plugin --profile <your-profile> add .. After install, pair your WeChat account once with pnpm login (prints a QR URL; scan with WeChat and confirm); this writes WEIXIN_ACCOUNT_ID / WEIXIN_BOT_TOKEN / WEIXIN_BASE_URL to $DSH_HOME/.credentials.yaml via dsh-credentials-local. Add allowFrom: ["<your-wechat-id>"] (required, no default) to the profile patch. WARNING: uses the unofficial iLink gateway (same as hermes-agent / OpenClaw); use a dedicated WeChat account — one poller per account enforced by iLink.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness web or headless profile. pnpm 10+ required for install. Requires a dedicated WeChat account registered with the iLink gateway. One authenticated poller per bot token — do not run concurrently with hermes-agent or OpenClaw on the same WeChat account.

FAQ
- Can I run this on my main personal WeChat account?
- The README strongly advises against it. iLink allows exactly one authenticated poller per bot token; a dedicated WeChat account is required. Tencent could also restrict accounts using the unofficial gateway, so use an account you are willing to lose.
- How does approval from WeChat work?
- When the DSH agent issues an approval request, it is forwarded to your WeChat chat. Reply /yes to allow or /no to deny; the default if approvalTimeoutSec elapses is deny. Requests are bound to the requesting WeChat session.
- How are long agent replies handled?
- Instead of a raw stream of tool calls, the plugin sends digest-style summaries at a configurable interval (digestIntervalSec, default 300s). This keeps the WeChat conversation readable without flooding it.
