DSH Expert Marketplace — browse & install community experts/expert groups from the Web UI Settings
Brings the Awesome DSH Experts catalog (community experts and expert groups) into the DSH Web UI without changes to deepseek-harness itself. DSH ships no first-class Expert concept, so this bundle adds a Settings section tab (the same settings.section slot the dshmarket client uses) to browse and copy experts, plus an optional compose-box entry that injects an installed expert group into the chat. The catalog is fetched from the companion awesome-dsh-experts repo with a 48 h max age and a shipped seed fallback.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/fuchao2pku/dsh-experts.gitREADME install (out-of-tree DSH bundle into the web profile). A local-path form is documented for development: dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-experts. Then (re)start the web profile with dsh --profile web web to apply. Uninstall with dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-experts followed by another restart.
Compatibility
Requires DSH 0.1.0-rc.6 (verified), the web profile (dsh.client.platform: "web"), Node >= 18 on the host side and React >= 18 as a peer provided by the harness Web UI. Configuration keys: catalogUrl (env DSH_EXPERT_MARKETPLACE_CATALOG_URL), maxAgeMs (default 172800000 = 48 h), timeoutMs 15000, maxBytes 5000000, composerSlot (default composer.toolbar) and composerIntegration/agentTools (both default true).

Recent updates
README documents the failure-tolerant data path: the catalog is cached with a max age, a stale hint is shown when a fetch fails, and an empty seed plus failed fetch leaves the tab visibly empty rather than crashing the settings panel.
FAQ
- How do I install dsh-experts?
- Run: dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/fuchao2pku/dsh-experts.git, then restart the web profile with dsh --profile web web. A local path form (add /path/to/dsh-experts) is documented for development.
- Where does the expert catalog come from?
- From the published catalog.json in the companion repo awesome-dsh-experts, fetched over HTTPS with a 48 h max age (catalogUrl is overridable via DSH_EXPERT_MARKETPLACE_CATALOG_URL).
- The Settings tab is empty — why?
- The catalog fetch failed and the shipped seed is empty. Check network access to raw.githubusercontent.com; the tab shows a stale hint, and restarting the web profile re-pulls the catalog.
