fengzhiyushui/dsh-desktop-window
Opens the DeepSeek Harness Web UI in a standalone app window — double-click to launch, no tab strip, no address bar, and a browser profile fully isolated from everyday browsing (a dedicated profile directory under %TEMP%). The window appears by itself once the server is up (on by default), a header button in the session header shows live window state and toggles it, a Settings → General switch controls auto-open at startup and persists across restarts, and the official whale favicon plus a web manifest are injected so the window title bar and an installed app carry the DeepSeek icon. It uses Chromium --app mode with a 1440×900 launch size.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:fengzhiyushui/dsh-desktop-windowREADME install: the GitHub form, the equivalent full URL form (dsh plugin --profile web add "git+https://github.com/fengzhiyushui/dsh-desktop-window.git"), a local form (dsh plugin --profile web add "file:D:/path/to/dsh-desktop-window"), or the helper script (powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "<plugin-dir>\scripts\install.ps1") which checks pnpm, handles paths containing spaces and runs the composition check. dsh plugin add installs into the profile's node_modules and merges the bundle that declares dsh.bundle into dsh.profile.bundles automatically — no manual config edits — then dsh web must be restarted because the bundle list is read at startup.
Compatibility
Windows 10/11 is the primary and only supported target (macOS 11+ shares the code path; Linux is untested); DSH >= 0.1.0-rc.6, developed and verified against 0.1.5-rc.1; Node.js >= 22 inherited from DSH; Edge, Chrome, Chromium, Brave or Vivaldi at a standard install location; pnpm only for dsh plugin add / update.

Recent updates
README safety and lifecycle notes: mutating routes are same-origin guarded (a cross-site POST returns 403), every route, timer and child process is released on plugin unload, and closing the window tears down the whole process tree. A Windows-specific note documents installing from a path containing spaces through a space-free junction (what install.ps1 does).
FAQ
- How do I install dsh-desktop-window?
