dsh-tui/dsh-tui
Claude Code-style terminal UI for DeepSeek Harness agents, as an out-of-tree dsh plugin bundle
@dsh-tui/dsh-tui restores a terminal-first Harness interface while composing over the official dsh-base bundle instead of forking the agent runtime. It streams Markdown and reasoning, renders terminal and diff tool cards, supports approvals and queued input, resumes persisted sessions, and exposes registered slash commands, model selection, todo state, token pressure, and themes. Users keep the same skills, subagents, workflows, sandbox decisions, and plugin ecosystem they would have in Web, but work inside a keyboard-oriented full-screen TUI.
Install
dsh plugin --profile tui add @dsh-tui/dsh-tuiStart with dsh --profile tui, or pass --resume with a persisted session id. The npm release avoids the build permission required by the optional GitHub-source installation.
Compatibility
Node ^22.19 or >=24, the dsh CLI, and a reachable DeepSeek-compatible model endpoint for real turns. The project is under active development against prerelease DSH APIs and pins its tested peer version.

FAQ
- Does this TUI use a separate agent runtime?
- No. It composes over the official dsh-base bundle and retains the same plugins, tools, skills, and sandbox approvals.
- How do I resume an old session?
- Run dsh --profile tui --resume followed by the persisted session id.
- Is the project tied to stable DSH APIs?
- No. The README says it tracks the prerelease rc line and may break while upstream changes.
