2nd1st/dsh-plugin-open-app

Bring open-mcp-apps into deepseek-harness: apps as sidebar containers with their own sessions, an agent status strip, and inline widget rendering

dsh-plugin-open-app makes every open-mcp-apps app 'a place you go' inside DSH: an Apps section in the sidebar, one container per app with its own workspace and conversation, and inline rendering when the model opens an app mid-chat. The package declares dsh.bundle, so dsh plugin add appends it to dsh.profile.bundles and the shipped patch becomes a layer of the profile tree, inserting both the open-app row and an mcp-oma row (dsh's MCP client pointed at the same engine, so the model can open and build apps as well).

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add @2nd1st/dsh-plugin-open-app

npm @2nd1st/dsh-plugin-open-app 0.1.2 verified 2026-09-02 (maintainer 2nd1st; README EN primary, repo 2nd1st/dsh-plugin-open-app). Requires a running open-mcp-apps v0.5.1+ engine, pnpm on PATH, Node 22+. Developer preview: the plugin reaches into dsh through six undocumented seams (listed in the README with degradation behavior) — expect breaking changes and pin a version if needed. The install adds two rows: open-app (this plugin) and mcp-oma (dsh's MCP client pointed at the same engine). Restart dsh web after install (plugin metadata is cached per name for the life of the process).

Compatibility

DSH web profile; Node 22+; pnpm on PATH; running open-mcp-apps v0.5.1+ engine.
