Maid-chan running on deepseek harness
A companion that sits in the bottom-right corner of DSH Web. She reacts to task state: when a task starts she gets busy too, and she changes animation and shows a speech bubble when an action needs confirmation, a turn ends, or something goes wrong. She is draggable, waves on a single click and jumps on a double-click. A balance button beside her opens your DeepSeek balance, an estimate of today's spending and the current session's cost. The README is explicit that she only reports what the task state establishes — a finished turn is reported as ended, without assuming it succeeded.
Install
npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add github:yuxino/dsh-blue-whale-maidREADME Install section quoted verbatim (it uses the unversioned @deepseek-ai/dsh package entry point). The README then says to restart DSH Web with npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web. Update and remove are documented as npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web update dsh-blue-whale-maid and ... remove dsh-blue-whale-maid. The balance and cost panel requires DEEPSEEK_API_KEY in the current profile; the companion and task reminders work without a key.
Compatibility
Requires Node.js ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0, pnpm, and a working DeepSeek Harness Web profile.

FAQ
- How do I install her?
- The README's command is npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add github:yuxino/dsh-blue-whale-maid, then restart DSH Web.
- Do I need an API key?
- Only for the balance and cost panel, which needs DEEPSEEK_API_KEY in the current profile; the companion itself and the task reminders still work without a key.
- Does a finished turn mean it succeeded?
- No — the README says the plugin reports only what the task state establishes, so a finished turn is reported as ended rather than as a success.
