wqty123/dsh-browser
Shared real browser for DSH: a native Electron window the human can watch and take over, driven by the agent over CDP with 20 browser_* tools (open/snapshot/execute/fill/screenshot/download/auth), per-task session isolation, cookie persistence, CAPTCHA detection; self-hosts on plain dsh web without a desktop shell.
dsh-builtin-browser adds shared real-browser capability to DeepSeek Harness: the agent drives a real, visible browser that the human can watch and take over at any time, both operating the same page (on desktop, the page the agent works on is the same page the human sees). It is a real page rather than a headless relay, works out of the box on plain 'dsh web' with no extra configuration, and exposes a single toolset of 34 browser_* tools — open, a11y tree, wait, semantic/coordinate interaction, scroll, back/forward, batch and single-form filling, keys, structured scraping, screenshot, download and auth management. The desktop bridge is optional but required for the 'one page for both parties' behaviour; without it the plugin falls back to opening its own separate window.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-builtin-browserWeb install: 'dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-builtin-browser'. The DSH Desktop host uses 'dsh plugin --profile desktop add dsh-builtin-browser' plus a desktop-only bridge step 'node <path-to-repo>/desktop-bridge/install.mjs' (which must be re-run after every desktop upgrade or plugin update). The npm package dsh-builtin-browser 0.3.1 was re-verified live on 2026-10-02 with its repository field back-linking to wqty123/dsh-browser (MIT).
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness web (plain 'dsh web' or the DSH Desktop sidebar). Platform: Windows (verified per the README badge). The carrier browser is chosen automatically (desktop sidebar first, otherwise self-hosting) and can be switched to an installed Chrome / Edge in settings. After install the agent gets 34 browser_* tools.
