Vim0x3c/dsh-session-manager
DeepSeek Harness session management settings panel: Lists all local sessions (running/idle/archived), supports continuing sessions, previewing outlines, and deleting sessions | Session management settings section for dsh
dsh-session-manager adds a full session-management panel to the DSH Web UI. It lists every local session (running, idle, archived) with title, status, working directory, and update time. Provides Resume (reopen in browser), Outline (fold session.history into turn/message/tool-call counts), and permanent Delete (stops the agent, removes JSONL directory and SQLite rows, cascades to managed subagent children). Multi-select bulk delete removes several sessions from the toolbar in one go.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-managernpm package dsh-session-manager 0.1.2 (registry-verified 2026-08-24). No DSH source changes required — install and restart dsh web. The plugin registers a browser Session-management panel and the Host-side session.delete RPC. Starting with 0.2.0 all components (browser panel, Host RPC, agent-stop compatibility, JSONL and SQLite deletion) ship in one package. Requires DeepSeek Harness web profile.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness web profile. No source patches required. JSONL and SQLite session storage both supported. Compatible with managed origin:subagent children (cascade delete). Loopback, Host, Origin, and Fetch Metadata trust checks for the session.delete RPC.

FAQ
- What happens to subagent sessions when a parent is deleted?
- Managed origin:subagent children are deleted in a cascade, deepest first. Ordinary fork sessions are not touched. The confirm dialog states exactly how many managed children will be removed. Orphaned managed children (whose parent has already disappeared) get their own Delete button.
- Is session data deleted from both JSONL files and SQLite?
- Yes — the delete flow removes the complete session-owned JSONL directory (log + snapshots) and deletes rows from SQLite in a transaction. Both stores are cleaned together.
- Does installing this plugin require modifying DSH source code?
- No — dsh-session-manager installs as a standard profile bundle with dsh plugin add. No changes to AgentLoop, SessionsApi, or any harness file are needed.
