DSH plan annotation plug-in: select the original text of the plan, annotate item by item, and send structured feedback back to Agent
dsh-plannotator turns DSH's binary Plan Review gate into a precise, multi-comment review: select exact plan text (drag over text or double-click a paragraph/list item/heading/bold phrase/code fragment), collect multiple anchored comments plus optional overall feedback, and send one structured review — all without leaving DeepSeek Harness. The review panel docks beside the conversation on wide screens (or collapses to a slim edge rail / drawer / bottom sheet on narrower ones) and can be reopened without settling the request. Send feedback answers the real exit_plan_mode interaction: DSH records the quoted plan text, each requested change, and the overall feedback in the tool result and Session Log, and the agent stays in plan mode to produce a revised proposal. Unsent comments are saved locally in the browser (isolated by Session, pending request, and plan revision), and approving while feedback is pending requires an explicit second confirmation. Ideal for architecture migrations, API changes, security fixes, and rollout plans where several independent corrections matter before implementation begins.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:titanwings/dsh-plannotator#v0.1.4GitHub bundle install (npm package dsh-plannotator 0.2.0 also exists on the registry (re-checked 2026-09-18, but its repository field points at a different project, eightHundreds/dsh-plann), and the README documents the GitHub bundle as the install path): dsh plugin --profile web add github:titanwings/dsh-plannotator#v0.1.4, then restart dsh web. The repository ships its built Host and Web bundles, so installation runs no package build script and needs no allowBuilds entry. Pin a reviewed commit SHA instead of the release tag when you need an exact source revision. Local checkout: Node.js 22.19+, pnpm install && pnpm check, then pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-plannotator from the harness checkout. Removing the plugin restores DSH's built-in Plan Review automatically. Re-verified 2026-09-18: README install line now pins #v0.1.4 (entry had #v0.1.3).
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness Web client, Node.js 22.19+. Claims only a valid, single-question DSH plan-review interaction; other questions fall through to the built-in renderer. Reviews Markdown plans — not a general document editor, Git diff viewer, PR publisher, file tree, or the full standalone Plannotator SPA. Drafts live in the current browser's local storage (not cloud-synced, rejected when the plan revision changes). At 1480px+ the plugin reserves a 440–560px companion column; narrower desktops use an on-demand drawer; phones use a bottom sheet. No custom Host route, third-party service, or telemetry.

Recent updates
The current bilingual README (English primary) documents: why it exists (binary Approve/Reject is too coarse), features (precise annotations, multi-comment review, collapse/reopen, actionable feedback via exit_plan_mode, draft recovery, review safeguards, UI fit), install (GitHub bundle + local checkout), how it works (6-step flow), real-world plan types with useful review comments, compatibility and boundaries, and how it fits DSH's Cordis architecture (one Loader row, dsh.client bundle, composer chain entry at priority -10, React portal panel).
FAQ
- What happens if I collapse the panel mid-review?
- The review panel shrinks to a slim edge rail while the compact composer gate stays visible; reopening either control continues with the same comments and overall feedback. Unsent comments are saved locally in the browser, isolated by Session, pending request, and plan revision.
- Does it patch the DSH core or replace the native UI?
- No — the bundle inserts one Cordis Loader row whose Host entry is a no-op; the Web bundle registers a conversation.composer chain entry that selects only Plan Review requests. There is no core patch, parallel agent loop, or duplicate persistence layer. Removing the plugin restores the built-in Plan Review.
- How does the agent receive my comments?
- Send feedback answers the real exit_plan_mode interaction. DSH records the quoted plan text, each requested change, and overall feedback in the tool result and Session Log; the agent remains in plan mode and can immediately produce a revised proposal.
