Email reminders from your DSH agent when you're away: fires at goal completion, blockage, before asking the user a decision, and at long-task milestones via a bundled zero-dependency Node SMTP sender.
dsh-notify-skill sends email reminders from the agent when you are away: you start a long-running goal, walk away, and when the agent finishes, gets blocked, or needs a decision it emails your phone mailbox — a one-way ping with no remote control. The skill ships one zero-dependency implementation (sender.mjs, ~70 lines using only Node built-ins tls/net) so mail is sent deterministically in every normal DSH session; the SKILL.md contract defines when to notify (goal done, blocked, before asking a decision, long-task milestone), what to write, the config contract, and how to guide the user through getting an SMTP authorization code. If Node is genuinely unavailable, the skill instructs the agent to implement the ~15-line SMTP call with whatever the environment provides (Python smtplib, curl, mail), keeping it cross-platform. A knowledge note documents that .NET SmtpClient hangs on implicit-TLS port 465 — the bundled sender uses node:tls instead.

FAQ
- When does the agent email you?
- When a goal completes, gets blocked, before it asks you for a decision, or at a long-task milestone — each with a short, specific message in your language.
- What does it need to send mail?
- A one-time config (config.json): sender, SMTP authorization code, recipient — hosts for QQ/163 mail are auto-inferred. The bundled sender uses only Node built-ins.
- What if Node is unavailable?
- The SKILL.md tells the agent to implement the ~15-line SMTP call itself with whatever the environment provides (Python smtplib, curl, mail), so it stays cross-platform.
