ossFrankFrank/dsh-dracula-theme

Adds a faithful Dracula theme to DeepSeek Harness with two variants — the classic Dracula (#282a36 canvas) and the gentler Dracula Soft (#343746 background) — registered into the built-in theme runtime with a one-click skin picker in Settings → General that persists across sessions. The core logic is adopted from the official Dracula DeepSeek port (MIT): the canvas/brand --dsw-static- overrides and code-highlight palette are taken verbatim and translated into the DSH theme runtime, with full token coverage (neutral and canvas ramps, brand purple, cyan blue, red/green/amber state colors, alias surfaces, component-specific tokens for sidebar, bubbles, composer and menus) and the official Dracula syntax colors for code highlighting (--shiki-).

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-dracula-theme

README installation: install the prebuilt npm package into the web profile, or from source with dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/ossFrankFrank/dsh-dracula-theme; restart the profile, then pick the skin in Settings → General → Dracula theme. README compatibility warning: on DSH Desktop 2.0.4+ install from the in-app plugin market instead of the CLI --profile web flow (the desktop app now owns its own profile), and do not install 1.0.0 on a 2.0.4 host — its client bundle references the removed @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-runtime module and the app will fail to start. 1.1.0 is the first release compatible with that host.

Compatibility

DSH theme runtime. README compatibility note: DSH Desktop 2.0.4+ moved client packages to 0.1.2-alpha.1; dsh-dracula-theme 1.1.0 is the first release compatible with that host, while 1.0.0 breaks it (plugin client bundle references the removed @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-runtime module).

Recent updates

Themes and lib/client.js are generated: edit the anchors in palette/dracula.json (colors, the official canvasRamp/brandRamp/codeTokens mappings, grayRamp, soft.background) and run npm run generate; validate with node scripts/check-themes.mjs (CI runs the same check plus a generated-artifacts diff). Token mappings follow the Dracula Syntax Highlighting Specification and the classic dracula/sublime convention.

FAQ

How do I install dsh-dracula-theme?
Run dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-dracula-theme (or the GitHub source form), restart the profile, then choose it in Settings → General → Dracula theme. On DSH Desktop 2.0.4+ use the in-app plugin market instead.
Why should I avoid installing version 1.0.0 on DSH Desktop 2.0.4+?
Because the 1.0.0 client bundle references the removed @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-runtime module — the README states it makes the app fail to start. Use 1.1.0, the first release compatible with that host.
Does the theme cover code highlighting?
Yes — it maps the official Dracula syntax palette (keywords pink, functions green, types cyan, strings yellow, numbers orange, comments #6272a4) onto the DSH --shiki-* code-highlight tokens.
