DeepSeek Harness plugin: dsh-conversation-share
Renders a selected range of a DSH conversation into a single PNG long image with a DeepSeek Harness branded footer, ready to share. A share capsule sits next to the Session log button; two draggable markers ("Start here" / "End here") magnetically snap to message rows, markdown blocks, visual boxes and even individual lines, and cannot cross. Capture adds 40pt theme-background padding, chunks and stitches over-long content past the canvas height limit, and offers preview, download and copy-to-clipboard.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:omdsh-dev/dsh-conversation-shareREADME install (one line into the web profile; pin a branch with ...#main, or add a local checkout path). The command runs pnpm add <spec> in the profile directory and automatically appends packages that declare dsh.bundle to dsh.profile.bundles. The repository ships its build output (lib/), so no consumer-side build is needed. After installing, restart web and hard-refresh the browser (Cmd+Shift+R) — old tabs do not load the new bundle. Upgrade with dsh plugin --profile web update github:omdsh-dev/dsh-conversation-share; remove with dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-conversation-share.
Compatibility
DSH web profile (needs pnpm on PATH for dsh plugin). Bundle layers are composed once at boot, so dsh plugin add requires a restart web; a hot-install path that mounts through the profile's user cordis.patch.yml layer is documented for loading without a restart (one hard-refresh of the browser is still needed for a brand-new client bundle).

Recent updates
README documents the hot-install route as an alternative to restart-based installs: register the package in the profile's own cordis.patch.yml (- insert: [- id: conversation-share, name: 'dsh-conversation-share']), which dsh web hot-reloads at runtime — with the caveat that you must not also run dsh plugin add for the same package or the plugin loads twice.
FAQ
- How do I install dsh-conversation-share?
- Run: dsh plugin --profile web add github:omdsh-dev/dsh-conversation-share, then restart dsh web and hard-refresh the browser. A local checkout form (dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/your/dsh-conversation-share) and a hot-install route through the profile's cordis.patch.yml are also documented.
- The share capsule does not appear after installing — why?
- The plugin only loads after restarting web and hard-refreshing the browser. Verify the bundle row exists in the profile with dsh --profile web --dump-config | grep conversation-share.
- Why do the range handles refuse to cross, or why does the page scroll while dragging?
- Both are by design: the start handle snaps to element top edges and the end handle to bottom edges, so they cannot cross; and the page only scrolls when the pointer enters the 64px top/bottom edge zones, dragging 1:1 within the viewport otherwise.
