mov-eax-eax/dsh-token-anxiety

Live per-task token cost widget: peak/valley pricing windows, projected post-hike costs, sortable per-task cost table, multi-currency (COP/USD/CNY + ~40 more) with FX rates, and one-click streamed LLM explain of expensive tasks.

Tracks the cost of every task in your conversation in real time, in the band under the chat composer: it shows DeepSeek pricing status (peak/valley windows for your timezone plus local time), a cost overview with the current cost and the projected post-hike figure in red, a sortable per-task table of every task with its total cost and token usage (hover a row for details), currency support (COP/USD/CNY by default plus ~40 more with regional formatting and live FX rates), and a one-click streamed analysis of why a task cost what it did, written in your language. It follows your harness theme and locale.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-token-anxiety

README install (from any directory; the path is absolute in the local form): dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-token-anxiety from npm, or dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-token-anxiety from a local checkout. Then restart dsh web and refresh the page. It is installed as a bundle with no additional dependencies.

Compatibility

Targets DeepSeek Harness ≥ 0.1.1-rc.2: the session projection is registered with the modern API (stateSchema + wire). On older harness builds (≤ 0.1.0-rc.7) the widget mounts but renders without data, because those builds still expect the pre-wire register shape. Requires a web profile (dsh web) and Node.js 22+; the bundle itself adds zero dependencies (node builtins only).

Details

Recent updates

README names release 0.1.1 and the stateSchema + wire projection API as the difference from older builds. The pricing table compares current vs projected rates per model, with projected peak/valley values colored green when cheaper than the current rate and red when more expensive.
