moguiyu/dsh-tavily#packages/dsh-tool-tavily-search
Tavily search with multiple API keys, key rotation and failover, a usage gauge, and a settings card.
Adds Tavily web search to DeepSeek Harness as an opt-in extra search tool rather than a swap-in for the built-in one. It manages a flat list of multiple Tavily API keys with round-robin rotation and automatic failover on HTTP 401/429, shows a live usage gauge with per-key usage circles, and exposes direct extract / map / crawl tools on top of search. Everything is configured from a settings card in the Plugins configuration tab, including a switch for the advanced tools.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add @moguiyu/dsh-tavilyREADME install — the npm package form (a github:moguiyu/dsh-tavily form is also documented for the source channel). After install, add your Tavily API key(s) in the DSH settings card under Settings → Plugins → plugin configuration. The built-in web_search tool is never replaced or rewritten (web.searchProvider is untouched), so Tavily is strictly additive.
Compatibility
DSH web profile. Requires Tavily API key(s), managed from the DSH settings UI. Opt-in extra search tool: it registers no search provider, never rewrites web.searchProvider and never disables the native web_search.

FAQ
- How do I install the Tavily plugin for dsh?
- Run: dsh plugin --profile web add @moguiyu/dsh-tavily, then add your Tavily API key(s) in the settings card under Settings → Plugins → plugin configuration.
- Does it replace the built-in web_search?
- No — Tavily is an opt-in extra tool. The plugin registers no search provider and never rewrites web.searchProvider, so the native web_search keeps working.
- What happens when one API key hits its limit?
- Keys are rotated round-robin and requests are automatically retried on HTTP 401/429; the usage gauge shows per-key usage so you can see which key is being consumed.
