MicroHEROX/dsh-koboldcpp-hands

Hands repetitive text and vision labor (OCR, image analysis, comparison) to a local KoboldCpp (llama.cpp) server through koboldcpp_run and koboldcpp_vision tools, with on-demand server lifecycle management.

dsh-koboldcpp-hands gives your DeepSeek Harness agent a pair of local hands through KoboldCpp: a tool plugin that lets the harness hand real device actions to a locally hosted KoboldCpp instance. It wires the agent to a local KoboldCpp server exposing /v1/chat/completions, so the online model can delegate tool execution to local GGUF models — keeping prompts and data on your machine while the main reasoning stays with the harness.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-koboldcpp-hands

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-koboldcpp-hands (npm dsh-koboldcpp-hands 0.1.1, verified npm 2026-08-31; repo MicroHEROX/dsh-koboldcpp-hands, README EN primary). Also npm install dsh-koboldcpp-hands inside the harness project. Requires a KoboldCpp binary (koboldcpp.exe NVIDIA/CUDA or koboldcpp-nocuda.exe AMD/Vulkan, any release with /v1/chat/completions) and your own GGUF model; vision needs a multimodal GGUF plus its mmproj.
