lxzy-7/dsh-plugin-guard

Plug-in installation safety net: automatic snapshot backup before installing/uninstalling/switching plug-ins, automatic rollback to the last good snapshot and retry if startup health check fails, Settings > Backup Management Panel + double-click one-click rollback script, accident report automatically triggers Agent analysis; zero runtime dependency, engine smoke test + three installation layouts passed the actual test

dsh-plugin-guard adds a recoverable safety boundary around plugin changes. It snapshots the profile's key configuration and lock files before guarded installs, starts the real Web host to test boot health, and can restore the last known-good snapshot plus reinstall the frozen lockfile when startup fails. The settings panel lists backups and retention, while CLI and Windows shortcut paths provide recovery even when DSH cannot launch. Incident reports capture logs and configuration differences for later agent diagnosis rather than claiming to detect every possible runtime bug.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:lxzy-7/dsh-plugin-guard

A pinned 0.3.2 tarball is also available from the repository. Restart dsh web after installation. The future npm name is documented but was not the recommended live path, so use GitHub or the pinned tarball.

Compatibility

Standard DSH Web bundle. Snapshot and rollback cover profile configuration and the lockfile. Boot-level validation runs the full Web host; runtime-only failures outside startup cannot be predicted. A Windows rollback.cmd is included.
