A GitHub-style daily token-usage heatmap of the current calendar year (Jan–Dec) rendered below the composer input card on the new-session screen only, with today / this-month / all-time totals on the same line. Year switcher, six color schemes (GitHub green, blue, orange, red, purple, cyan) with absolute-threshold tiers (0 / <1M / 1M–10M / 10M–100M / ≥100M tokens/day), hover tooltips with exact dates and counts, auto-refresh every 5 minutes (and on window re-focus), manual refresh, and a settings card with a show/hide toggle.

- Below the composer input card on the new-session (hero) screen only — not in existing conversations.
- Can I change the colors?
- Yes — six schemes (green/blue/orange/red/purple/cyan) switchable in Settings → Plugins, using absolute token thresholds, not relative rankings.
- How fresh is the data?
- It auto-refreshes every 5 minutes and when the window becomes visible again; there is also a manual refresh button.
