keke050/dsh-wallpaper

Wallpaper skin for the DSH Web UI: presets, image URL or upload, and an opacity slider that fades the interface to reveal the wallpaper.

Sets a custom background wallpaper for the DeepSeek Harness desktop app. It ships six built-in gradient presets (aurora, ocean, sunset, forest, night, sakura) plus a 'none' option, accepts any http(s) image URL, or takes an upload of a local PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP up to 10 MB. An opacity slider controls how strongly the wallpaper shows through the UI, from hidden at 0% to fully dominant at 100%, where the base background, cards and even message bubbles become translucent so the image fills the whole window.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:keke050/dsh-wallpaper

README Install block quoted verbatim. The README notes that the config and any uploaded image live in $DSH_HOME/storages/wallpaper/ and are served at a stable /dsh-wallpaper/image path, so nothing is lost when the desktop app rebinds its random loopback port. Registry check 2026-09-16: the npm name dsh-wallpaper resolves at 0.1.3 but its registry repository field points at github.com/codeMonkey-Pine/dsh-wallpaper — a different repository — so no npm ownership is asserted and this page uses the README's GitHub form.

Compatibility

README: aimed at the DeepSeek Harness desktop app; uploads must be a PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP of 10 MB or less, and the wallpaper state survives restarts because it is stored under $DSH_HOME/storages/wallpaper/.
