johnnycls/dsh-no-setup-mode
No-setup mode for the DSH web UI: hides advanced surfaces, auto-applies best defaults (chat mode, full access, account balance), and one-click role-play personas (maid/butler).
A no-setup mode for DSH: installed once, it hides the advanced UI (logo, conversation/trajectory tabs and session log, extra composer buttons, all settings pages) and keeps only the chat essentials, automatically applying sensible defaults — the Chat Mode preset (no-setup + web tools + DeepSeek-V4-Flash), the default agent preset and interrupt-and-send on busy Enter. A ⚙ dialog at the sidebar foot handles language (zh/en), the DeepSeek API key (validated, auto-saved on blur) and exiting the mode. Three header modes switch preset, model and thinking level (Chat = web tools/V4-Flash/off, Work = standard/V4-Flash/high, Expert = PTC Code Mode/V4-Pro/max), optional maid/butler personas inject a role-play card per session, and the account balance for every currency the API returns is shown under the composer.
Install
dsh plugin add github:johnnycls/dsh-no-setup-modeREADME install line (the README points agents at its bundled install skill, which runs the same command). Requirements: git and network access to GitHub — no authentication, since the repo is public. Restart DSH after installing: the host half of the plugin loads only at startup, and a browser refresh alone is not enough. If dsh plugin add fails with a pnpm/corepack error, export COREPACK_HOME="$HOME/.cache/node/corepack" and retry. Update with dsh plugin update dsh-no-setup-mode, then restart DSH.
Compatibility
DSH with a public GitHub install; the repo ships its install/uninstall skills. No-setup mode switches the session to full access (danger-full-access), so no approval prompts appear while chatting — leaving the mode restores the deployment default. All settings are written to the official settings store, so they remain inspectable in normal mode.

FAQ
- How do I install dsh-no-setup-mode?
- Run: dsh plugin add github:johnnycls/dsh-no-setup-mode, then restart DSH — the host half only loads at startup, so a browser refresh is not enough.
- Does no-setup mode reduce safety?
- Yes, deliberately: entering it switches the session to full access (danger-full-access) so no approval prompts appear, and new conversations inherit that. Only use it in conversations you trust; leaving the mode restores the deployment default.
- How do I get back to the normal UI?
- Use the Exit no-setup mode button in the ⚙ dialog (it also resets the persona to none and restores normal permissions); normal mode keeps a single "Enter No-Setup Mode" button at the bottom of General Settings.
