DeepSeek Harness plugin: paste Finder file paths into the composer with Ctrl+V
dsh-paste-path closes the macOS Finder gap in DeepSeek Harness Web: copying files or folders in Finder writes a native file-list representation (not a plain path), and browser editors are isolated from local filesystem paths. With the plugin, copy items in Finder with Cmd+C, return to DSH, and press Ctrl+V when the composer shows the 'Paste path' hint — the absolute paths are inserted into the current draft, one per line. Normal text paste stays on Cmd+V, the hint stays hidden when the clipboard holds no file paths, and duplicate paths already in the draft are skipped. The host half reads NSFilenamesPboardType through osascript; clipboard endpoints accept loopback connections only, mutating paste requests must be same-origin, and clipboard responses are never cached.

FAQ
- Does it replace normal paste?
- No — text paste stays on Cmd+V; only Ctrl+V inserts Finder file paths, and only when the clipboard actually holds file items.
- Why is it macOS-only?
- It reads the macOS Pasteboard file-list type (NSFilenamesPboardType) through osascript — a platform mechanism that does not exist on Windows/Linux.
- Is the clipboard data exposed?
- No — clipboard endpoints accept loopback connections only, mutations require same-origin, and responses are never cached.
