Git worktree plugin for DeepSeek Harness web: browse/create worktrees from the w
dsh-worktree brings Git worktree management to the DeepSeek Harness Web interface: browse all worktrees in a repository (primary worktree, branch, path, lock state, detached-HEAD state), open any worktree as a DSH workspace (register the directory and jump in), create worktrees from existing branches or from new branches — all directly in the Web UI. On stock Harness a Git branch icon appears next to Settings in the sidebar footer and opens the panel for the current workspace with no upstream source changes; the preferred entry point (Workspace … menu → Git worktree) is available on Harness builds where the optional ui-workspace patch is applied.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add link:"$PWD"/packages/worktreeLocal link: install per README (EN primary with zh edition); npm dsh-worktree is owned by a different author (FlashingChen, verified 2026-09-03) — not claimed. The repository ships prebuilt lib/ and remote/ artifacts, so a local link: installation does not require a build step: clone, then dsh plugin --profile web add link:"$PWD"/packages/worktree and dsh plugin --profile web add link:"$PWD"/packages/client-ui-worktree, restart dsh web and refresh. An optional patch (patches/ui-workspace-workspaceMenu.patch) enables the Workspace … menu entry on a DeepSeek Harness source checkout; without it, a stock Git branch icon appears next to Settings in the sidebar footer.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness web profile; stock sidebar-footer entry works without source changes; Workspace-menu entry needs the included ui-workspace patch applied to a Harness source checkout.

FAQ
- What can the agent/user do from the Web UI?
- Browse every worktree in the repository (branch, path, lock state, detached HEAD), open any worktree as a DSH workspace, and create worktrees from existing or new branches.
- Does it need DeepSeek Harness source changes?
- The stock entry (sidebar-footer Git branch icon) needs none. The Workspace … menu entry requires the included ui-workspace patch applied to a Harness source checkout.
- Is a build step required for install?
- No — the repo ships prebuilt lib/ and remote/ artifacts, so local link: installs work without building.
