dylan121322/dsh-session-unarchive

Restore archived sessions to their original workspace from the Web GUI sidebar.

Adds an archived-sessions view and a restore action to the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI. An Archived button sits at the bottom of the sidebar beside Settings and shows the archived-session count; clicking it opens a popover panel listing every archived session with a title filter and a per-row Restore action. Restoring returns a session to its original workspace position, and both the panel and the built-in sidebar update automatically through dsh's host/archived-sessions-changed event. It works in both zh-CN and en locales.

dsh plugin add github:dylan121322/dsh-session-unarchive

This is the README's own dsh plugin add-style line, quoted verbatim from its install note; the README adds the caveat that it works only as long as the bundle resolver reaches the profile's node_modules, and that the file: form below is the most reliable. The README's primary, most reliable path is local: add "dsh-session-unarchive": "file:plugins/session-unarchive" to the profile package.json dependencies, register - id: session-unarchive / name: dsh-session-unarchive in cordis.patch.yml, then run pnpm install, restart dsh and refresh the browser. Registry check 2026-09-16: no dsh-session-unarchive npm package resolved.

Compatibility

README: a pure Cordis plugin with a host half and a client half and zero file patches — nothing is written under the dsh install directory, so it survives dsh upgrades. The host half registers POST /api/session-unarchive/restore and a listing route on webServer; the client half registers a sidebar.footer.action slot occupant with replaceRisk: none. The README notes the earlier boot-time-patcher design is superseded. Repo verified 2026-09-16 (1★, MIT, last push 2026-09-03).

The README documents the two halves, the slots they register and the superseded patcher design rather than a release-by-release table.

FAQ

How do I install it?
The README's most reliable path is the local file:plugins/session-unarchive dependency plus a cordis.patch.yml entry, then pnpm install, restart dsh and refresh the browser; it also states dsh plugin add github:dylan121322/dsh-session-unarchive works if the bundle resolver reaches the profile's node_modules.
Will a dsh upgrade break it?
The README says it is a pure Cordis plugin with zero file patches and writes nothing under the dsh install directory, so it survives upgrades.
What does the UI add?
An Archived button with a session count, a popover listing archived sessions with a title filter, and a per-row Restore action that returns a session to its original workspace position.
